About the Author
Anessa Praphaisri Tjarks was born in Bangkok, Thailand and grew up in a one square mile town, Albany, California. She stayed connected to her roots during her childhood by attending the local Thai Temple where she learned about her culture, attended classes, and performed traditional Thai dances. She had the opportunity to participate in a dance tour in Thailand through the Temple. At nine years old, she even preformed for the Queen of Thailand. These cultural experiences inspired her to write a book with reflections of her Thai heritage, and influence for her children.
About the Illustrator
Hanna Kowalewska is an author and illustrator from Poland specializing in creating captivating art for children's books, games, and other products. Her lifelong passion for creativity has led her through various artistic fields, including clothing and graphic design. In 2020, she took the leap into the world of illustrations and has since been crafting colorful and enchanting worlds that capture the hearts and imaginations of children.
